Valentino Bravi

Chief Executive Officer of TAS S.p.A. .

Valentino Bravi, born in Pavia in 1957, has over twenty years of experience in the IT market in which he has held leading roles in management. After studying Applied Mathematics at university, he had his first experience working at the Società Italiana di Matematica Applicata [Italian Society of Applied Mathematics]. From 1977 to 1980 he worked at Syntax (Olivetti Italia Group) as Project Leader for the analysis and the development of software applications in the field of telecommunications. In 1981, after having worked at Datamont (Montedison Group), he joined Pirelli where he was responsible for Database/Data Communication engaging in developing innovative solutions for Data Communication. During those years he engaged in the development of the then emerging Pirelli Informatica and from 1985 he undertook the role of Department Manager. In 1988 he joined Computer Associates Europe to create a new Division dedicated to Computer Services undertaking positions of increasing responsibility for twelve years until he become Chief Executive Officer for Italy, South Europe General Manager and International Senior Vice-Chairman. From 2000 to 2003 he was Chief Executive Officer and General Director at Siemens Business Services and transformed the Italian Group which was a company of hardware products into a leading Italian company in IT solutions and services. In July 2003 he was Chief Executive Officer and General Director of Etnoteam. From February 2007 to April 2009 he held the position of Chief Executive Officer of T-Systems Italy. He has been holding the position of Chief Executive Officer of TAS Tecnologia Avanzata dei Sistemi S.p.A since April 2009.
